Doctors & Staff
Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make The Pataskala Vision Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in Pataskala.
Steven D. Walsh, O.D.
Steven D. Walsh, O.D. is a central Ohio native and life-long Buckeye fan. He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School, did his undergraduate work at Miami University, and received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1993.
While he was in Optometry School, Dr. Walsh worked at The Pataskala Vision Center for Dr. Mason as an optician. Little did he know that 20 years later he would take over the practice from Dr. Mason. He and his family have lived in Pataskala and his daughters graduated from Watkins Memorial. Both of his daughters, his wife, and even the family dogs work at the vision center, so it truly is a “family practice.”
Before Dr. Walsh purchased The Pataskala Vision Center, he worked at an eye surgery center doing preoperative and postoperative surgical care. Dr. Walsh has trained other optometrists in refractive surgical care and was a credentialing board member for the National Lasik Network for many years. He is always excited to incorporate new technology at the office to help. provide state-of-the-art care to his patients.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time on his farm taking care of the animals and driving around on his tractor. He enjoys skiing in the winter and eagerly awaits every fall for Buckeye Football!
